You underwent our initial Critical Chain Project Management training or you have, at least partially, implemented Critical Chain Project Management, this training aims at enhancing your expertise and allows you to improve the results obtained with the first projects run with CCPM. 

During this training:

  • We will share our feedback from more than 15 years of Critical Chain implementation

  • Know how to further improve results after an initial Critical Chain implementation

  • Know how to fully integrate the Critical Chain methodology in the processes and management practises

Covered topics

  • The advanced project scheduling with Critical Chain

How to create good CCPM standard schedules. Modeling tips and recommendations in specific cases (gaps, critical suppliers, etc.). How and why to choose the right Critical Chain.

  • Projects portfolio management with the Critical Chain methodology

How to identify the capacity constraint in a project environment. The staggering of projects according to the capacity constraint or “virtual drum”. What principles and rules to apply to optimize the performance of the project portfolio (level of work in progress, prioritization of projects, etc.).

  • How can you drive the continuous improvement actions?

How to use the analysis of the project buffers consumption to identify the most relevant actions to launch. How to discriminate between tasks with and without added value. How to optimize the duration of tasks again.

  • The compatibility of Critical Chain with Agile's methods

How to inject Agile into the Critical Chain approach and vice versa.
