In this 15-minute conference, Frédéric Grehal, General Manager at Circor France, presents the Critical Chain implementation within his company for the new product development process. After a short introduction about Circor's aeronautical activities, Frédéric explains the evolution of their project performances since 2018 : they went from a situation where most projects were late, where the quality of life at work of employees was deplorable, to today's situation where a majority of projects are under control with a clear improvement of the teams' well-being. Following a phase of diagnostic and training by Marris Consulting, the implementation started with three pilot projects before a generalisation on the whole project portfolio. Besides, in order to increase the throughput, in other words the speed with which Circor is able to develop new products, a capacity constraint - the qualification laboratory - has been identified and "debottlenecked": hire of new resources, identification of critical materials that triggered some investments, checklist formulation etc.
