The conference

By focusing Lean initiatives in the right places within the company the Theory Of Constraints leads to much faster improvements in performance. By identifying what limits sales, TOC enables organizations to renew with growth and avoid downsizing. You could call it focused Lean.

About the webinar

The Theory Of Constraints (TOC) was developed by Eliyahu Goldratt and promoted thanks to the best-seller The Goal, first published in 1984.

The method, although less (re)known than Lean and other management methods, is nevertheless more and more relevant today, and is based on simple concepts: it starts from the principle that in any system there is a resource whose capacity is less than the others, thus the system is unbalanced.

Therefore seeking the full performance of all the means/resources individually does not improve the performance of the system, on the contrary, it is necessary to focus on the least capacitive element, the constraint of the system. Thus by concentrating Lean progress approaches in the right place, the Theory of Constraints improves performance more quickly.

Find out how to optimize your improvement process with quick and concrete results, by focusing on 1% of the resources that determine 99% of the company's overall performance. By identifying what limits sales, the Theory of Constraints helps to reconnect with growth and avoid the process of continuous layoffs.

In this webinar, Philip Marris, who has more than 30 years of experience in the use of the Theory of Constraints (TOC), presents the essential characteristics of the method, between theory and practical cases, taken from Marris Consulting's assignments.

The end of the webinar is devoted to a questions and answers session.
