This video series is a summary of the book Exceeding the Goal. In this book on Constraint Management applied to IT John Ricketts introduces the different features and synergies that Constraint Management can bring in a very specific sector using leading edge technologies and with only a few material components and a lot of virtual ones. The first part of his book is focusing on the IT sector and its specificities. The second part deals with identifying bottlenecks or constraints in a software company: can the constraint be hardware, data or software? The last part of the book is dedicated to the benefits of the Theory of Constraints and Strategy in the information technology sector. How to lead a company on a daily basis but also in the long run while applying the Theory of Constraints teachings?
