During a conference hosted by the PMI French-speaking community Philip Marris presented the basics of Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM).
The PMI - also known as Project Management Institute - is an association for project management, with a community of millions of project managers across the World. This association regularly edit the PMBoK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), the Body of Knowledge on project management.
If Critical Chain Project Management does not benefit from a lot of coverage by the PMI, the PMI granted to Embraer the "best project of the year" award in 2019. Embraer developed a new airplane 22,5 months ahead of the initial end date and was commended by the regulatory bodies in charge of the review of the file.
In this video Philip Marris present scheduling the Critical Chain way and project monitoring the Critical Chain way. Moreover some case studies are presented.
