In this video Philip Marris describes a problem common to most of our clients: the high level of details in project plans. While project managers expect the project to be easier to monitor by increasing the number of tasks and having shorter task durations, they only increase the complexity of their schedules and it will be only harder to manage the project later on.
This is illustrated by two recent client cases, in the aeronautic maintenance (MRO) and in the oil and gas sectors.
