Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is a project management approach that allows you to finish nearly all your projects on time, to reduce their durations by approximately 40%, to provide excellent visibility and anticipation capability, and to create a much better working environment with much less stress and firefighting. Moreover, because of the high performance of each project individually, the project portfolio becomes easier to manage.
During this webinar, Philip talks about the different elements of this methodology, and provides a comprehensive understanding of its application. A highlight of the webinar was his explanation of two key concepts: 'Focused' and 'Pessimistic' task durations. These terms, used in the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) methodology, were explained.
