Critical Chain Project Management

You have already implemented the Critical Chain methodology and you would like to deepen your knowledge. This training is for you!

 

If you underwent our initial training (see details here) or if you have, at least partially, implemented Critical Chain Project Management, this training aims at enhancing your expertise. The training will be hosted by Philip Marris, CCPM expert with a unique experience of successful Critical Chain implementations worldwide who started his Theory of Constraints in 1986 when he worked with Eliyahu Goldratt.

  • The advanced project scheduling with Critical Chain

How to create good CCPM standard schedules. Modeling tips and recommendations in specific cases (gaps, critical suppliers, etc.). Integrate risk management into CCPM operations. How and why to choose the right Critical Chain.

  • Projects portfolio management with the Critical Chain methodology

How to identify the capacity constraint in a project environment. The sequencing of projects according to the capacity constraint or “virtual drum”. What principles and rules to apply to optimize the performance of the project portfolio (level of work in progress, prioritization of projects, etc.).

  • How should we communicate with our customers?

If a client is unfamiliar with the Critical Chain approach, how do you avoid misunderstanding and questioning of schedules by your clients?
