Boosting Lean manufacturing with TOC

How the Theory Of Constraints can boost a Lean and Lean Six Sigma initiative to go faster and further. How to analyse plants and identify capacity constrained resources. Application of TOC’s 5 Focusing Steps in combination with Lean and Six Sigma. Application to different types of factories: V, A & T types. How to apply Drum-Buffer-Rope (DBR). How it is possible to increase Throughput (production rate) by more than 15% in less than 15 minutes in some cases! When and how to apply Critical Chain Project Management in operations so as to deliver on time in half the time. The course is a mixture of presentations of the concepts combined with a very large number of real life examples from many industries: aeronautics, automotive, pharmaceuticals, steel production, chemicals, fast food operations, luxury handbags and medical devices manufacturing.
