The conference, dedicated to industrial professionals, was the opportunity to present the approach, the methodology and the tools implemented in the factory. It is co-hosted by Ludovic Hagneré, the Production Director and Guillaume Brethenoux, the Maintenance Manager.
The Conference
Ludovic presented the implementation of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) and the obtained results: how did the factory trasitioned from cronic delivery delays to a service level (OTD On Time Delivery) of 75%. TOC led to the reduction of production work-in-progress by more than 75% and the reduction of leadtime from 9 months to 2.5 months. The bottleneck's productivity was increased by roughly 45%.
Guillaume presented the re-implantation of the machining workshop he directed using the Critical Chain Project Management method. He explained how a project initially planned for 5 weeks was achieved within 6.5 days.
