Conduct of a Supply Chain skills development program for managers, notably thanks to a serious game:

  • Deployment of the APICS (Association for Operations Management) approach to align the whole organization on common vocabulary and processes worldwide

  • Utilization of a "serious game" (Fresh Connection) whose purpose is to increase company profits by better managing the Supply Chain (Purchasing ,Procurement, Warhouses management, Production management, Customer Supply management,...)

2 training cycles in 25 countries: the 5 Supply Chain Regional Directorates (3 days), then the Steering Committee of the 40 plants (2days)

 

Results

  • Personnalized support for the customers, based on principles, processes and vocabulary of APICS: APICS dictionary distribution to all participants and exploitation during training to make it the reference book for all the management team

  • Utilization of a "serious game" in several rounds allowing to emphasize various aspects: the importance of the S&OP preparation, the importance of aligning actions with strategy, the financial impact of decisions ..

  • Many "break outs" for work group

  • Full Lean Manufacturing integration  in the approach

  • Pilots training with the consultants' high presence to ensure the internal teams coaching and training means for the following courses in the plants
